Self-assessment Program Insights4Imaging - Learning Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, learners should be able to:
1. Implement new knowledge into daily practice (CanMEDS role: Medical Expert)
2. Increase knowledge and update competencies in medical imaging and related professional scope (CanMEDS role: Medical Expert)
3. Identify one’s learning gaps based on individual knowledge base (CanMEDS role: Scholar)
4. Compare one’s practice with the recognized best practice (CanMEDS role: Manager)
The aim of this self-assessment program is to assist radiologists in reducing perceived and unperceived knowledge gaps related to research and clinical issues in radiology, and to help evaluate a participant’s current skill levels and learning needs for various imaging modalities. The program can help identify potential areas of further professional educational needs.
The CARJ articles can be read before or after completing the self-assessment test and participants may consult other materials as appropriate.
Insights4Imaging is an accredited self-assessment program (Section 3) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and approved by The Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR) for a maximum of 4 hours.
Participants may enter RCPSC Maintenance of Certification credits via MAINPORT portal at www.mainport.org.
